Scientist/Engineer. Applied Technology Associates (ATA) is
seeking a qualified and self-motivated Scientist/Engineer to support
our joint mission with the Air Force Research Laboratory at Kirtland
AFB, New Mexico. The selected individual will work as part of team
aimed at optical instrumentation research, design, testing,
calibration, and characterization of new and existing technology
solutions for infrared and visible range, polarized sensors and
cameras. The successful applicant will have a background in
optics and physics. Experience with LabView, IR-cameras and
sensors, electronic interface and control, sensor
calibration/characterization, and sensor modeling/simulation is
preferable. Salary will be commensurate with educational background,
work experience, and familiarity with optical instrumentation systems.

Software Engineer. Applied Technology Associates is seeking highly
motivated Real Time Software Engineer to join our team. We are
looking for someone with a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer
Science, or Computer Engineering and a minimum of 5 years experience
in computer software and hardware design for embedded real-time
applications. In-depth experience with Wind River Tornado/Vx
Works, development environment under UNIX and Windows operating
systems which would include BSPs and Device Driver Development.
Extensive experience with embedded software development, as well as,
knowledge in networking protocols will be necessary. Salary will
be commensurate with educational background, work experience, and

Software Engineer. Applied
Technology Associates (ATA) is seeking a qualified and self-motivated
Software Engineer to be part of a team of engineers designing and
building an advanced Inertial Reference Unit (IRU). The qualified
candidate will work with a team of Software Engineers to design,
develop and test operational software for the IRU. The successful
applicant will have a background in software engineering design and
development of Real-Time Embedded Systems. Experience with the C
Programming Language is required. Experience with TI: Code Composer
Studio, TMS320C6000 DSP, DSP/BIOS, Assembly Language and Windows
programming is highly desired. Experience with MATLAB, Linux is a
plus. Salary will commensurate with educational background, work
experience, and familiarity with Real-Time Embedded System. EOE
